Nutrition Coach

Jenn is an elementary school principal, mother of two, and fitness and nutrition enthusiast.  She has been a CrossFitter for 6 years, as well as an obstacle course racer, who enjoys challenging herself with a variety of physical endeavors – from rock climbing to stand-up paddle-boarding, chances are she’s tried it.  

Jenn’s enthusiasm for fitness and nutrition began in high school.  She played volleyball, ran cross country, and played softball throughout her high school years, and worked at a nutrition cafe/store run by seven Connecticut cardiologists.  At the cafe, Jenn learned many principles around nutrition and wellness, how to cook and prepare food for various dietary needs, and what vitamins, herbs, and supplements could be used to boost overall health.  

This interest continued on through Jenn’s college years and beyond.  She has spent time exploring vegetarian, vegan, macrobiotic, and ketogenic approaches to nutrition.  She also has practical experience with Zone, tracking macros, and paleo approaches.  Jenn’s mother was diagnosed with Celiac Disease and through this Jenn learned a great deal about gluten-free and other elimination approaches for managing autoimmune conditions. She is a Precision Nutrition Level 1 certified coach, and the nutrition coach at her local CrossFit affiliate, CrossFit 321 in Topsham, Maine. When Jenn is not at the gym or at work, she is often found snuggling with her Frenchie, Pepper, or playing with her kids, Brianna and Brayden.  She likes to take on Spartan races and Bonefrog races with her boyfriend Ben, and has completed her Spartan Trifecta, as well as the Bonefrog Challenge, Tier-1, and Endurance races.  What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger!
