Catherine Scherer

Nutrition Coach

While studying classical ballet for most of her life, Cat became well versed in nutrition at an early age.  While she dabbled in figure skating, field hockey, basketball, swimming and diving, Cat danced professionally for a few years before attending the University of Delaware.
At the ripe old age of 40, Cat found CrossFit and hasn’t looked back.  She knew she wanted to help others reach their fullest potential as soon as she started back in 2014.  After spending 20+ years in the banking industry, Cat quit corporate America to follow her dreams of training others in nutrition and fitness.  She currently owns Catalyst Fitness of Delaware providing nutrition coaching, personal training, and group training for her clients ages 12 to 72!  Cat also coaches at 2 local affiliates and competes locally as a Masters CrossFit athlete. She has served as a judge at the CrossFit Games and other Sanctional CrossFit events. Her next mission is to open up her own CrossFit affiliate and change even more lives for the better.
When she’s not inspiring others, she’s watching her son play baseball or her daughter play volleyball.  Cat lives in Hockessin, Delaware with her husband, 2 teenagers and 3 dogs.
